Go up to www.uber.com and see what an Uber drive would charge from your location to an inspection address. Then add a fee for the amount of time that you would spend on site taking photos ,,, or whatever.
I like the time and material approach to pricing inspections.. The IRS says it costs me 53.5-cents for every mile I drive. The median salary is about $23 an hour … applied to drive time and on-site time. I can use these numbers and do the math to come up with a minimum fee to charge. I can usually do it in my head in about 10-seconds.
