Mortgage delinquencies and foreclosures are at 11-year lows. Fraud in the Mortgage Segment is at record highs. Chargebacks are on the rise. I still run into mortgage inspectors accepting very low fees. One inspector in Brooklyn was performing 7-photo mortgage drive-by inspections for $1.50. The profit is “maybe” 75-cents. I talked to a property preservation specialist in Clermont who was paid $20 for a grass cut. The drive time to the grass cut site was 40 minutes one way. I see many in the mortgage segment who are losing money verses making money. They must have failed math in high school. What I have seen cannot be unseen like some of my trips to Walmart. Avoid the mortgage segment!
