The Days Of $20 Polaroid Land Cameras & Being Paid For Photos Are Gone

If you go back about 15 years ago, mortgage field service inspectors made about 75-cents profit on each photo taken with a Polaroid Land Camera which cost about $20. Inspection fees were higher 15 years ago. No insurance was required. Today, the cost for required insurance is about $1,200. Today, mortgage inspections require 7 photos. The bottom line is much more work for less pay. And, then you do the work and don’t get paid. This is crazy.
